KHANDA: THE SIKH EMBLEM
This is the emblem of the Sikhs and it
represents:
The inner ring or CHAKRA represents
here IK ONKAR.... He who is without
beginnning or end. Our beloved
Waheguru... Our Wonderful Lord.
The two swords (KIRPANS) - represent
spiritual and temporal power.
KHANDA.
This is centrally placed double edged
sword with which Amrit (Sikh equivalent
of Holy Communion) is prepared.
It illustrates the attributes of a saint -
soldier.
